Today, we pair one of Downtown Los Angeles’ newest architectural icons with one of its most storied landmarks for a day of exquisite art and elegant dining. Our journey begins at The Biltmore Los Angeles, a luxurious "living legend" that has hosted celebrities and presidents, a nightclub during Prohibition and even the Academy Awards since it opened in 1923. We’ll enjoy an included buffet lunch in the hotel’s restaurant (at approximately 11:00 a.m.), featuring a selection of Italian entrées, sides, and desserts. Following, enjoy time at leisure to explore the hotel’s opulent interior, home to hand-painted frescos, carved marble fountains, massive wood-beamed ceilings, lead crystal chandeliers, and heavily embroidered imported tapestries. In the famous Rendezvous Court, you can marvel at the Moorish Revival ceiling accented with 24-karat gold and the grand Spanish Baroque bronze doorway, whose original astrological clock still keeps perfect time. Perhaps you’ll recognize filming locations from movies like Chinatown, Ghostbusters, The Nutty Professor, Iron Man, The Dark Knight Rises and television shows such as Mad Men and CSI. This afternoon, we arrive at The Broad, the $140 million contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad. This striking building serves as a repository for one of the world's most prominent collections of postwar and contemporary art, featuring masterpieces by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jean‐Michel Basquiat. Because the museum rotates its vast 2,000-piece personal collection – displaying only about 250 works at a time – each visit offers fresh opportunities to question, debate, and appreciate. Enjoy time at your leisure to explore this fascinating venue, where the innovative "veil and vault" architecture is just as captivating as the world-class art it protects. Guests may book a free timed entry (between 1:45-2:45 p.m.) into the museum’s Infinity Mirrored Room on their own online when it becomes available on a first-come, first-served basis at 10:00 a.m. on June 24, 2026. Yayoi Kusama's immersive installation is a mirrored room with LED lights that you can physically enter for up to one minute. The dark, enclosed space with flashing lights may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to light and/or enclosed, dark spaces.
To ensure a healthy and enjoyable travel experience for our guests, this tour will operate with additional health & wellness measures in place.
