Tour Price

Land Tour Package (double occupancy) $5,499 p.p. This package is applied to all guests as a base package. Double occupancy means two guests are sharing a hotel room (with one or two beds based on your preference) with someone they have selected as their roommate. If you are traveling as a single guest (with no roommate), the single occupancy supplement price must be added. We do not pair up single guests to create a double occupancy.

Single Occupancy (no roommate) +$1,350 p.p. Single occupancy is an additional supplement added to the Tour Package (double occupancy) price for a guest to have their own hotel room. Paying the single supplement does not imply two seats on the motorcoach.

Roundtrip Group Airfare $1,000 p.p.

Roundtrip LAX Transfer $149 p.p. Roundtrip airport transfers (generally with your tour director) are available from the departure points listed as an optional add-on price. Transfers are only available on the scheduled tour departure and return dates. Quotes for roundtrip home transfers begin at $299 per person and are provided upon request approximately 30 days prior to departure.

Activity Level

Expect extensive walking with intermittent breaks. Numerous steps may be involved, possibly on uneven surfaces or at higher elevations. Expect to walk 3-5 city blocks in a timely fashion or go up a flight of stairs without handrails. Guests should be physically fit with no mobility limitations. If you need wheelchair assistance at the airport, you should not consider a tour of this level. A single-day tour that involves an extensive walking tour at higher elevations, or a 7-day tour with multiple hotels and walking tours, would be good examples.

Pace Level

Active: Tours are at an active pace with mostly longer travel days. To fully take advantage of all this tour has to offer, guests need to be prepared for full-days with a scheduled program of travel, sightseeing and/or events at a faster pace and longer distances. Limited leisure time (sometimes only in the later evenings). Generally, these tours include a flight and three or more hotel stays.

Board the scenic PeruRail train through dramatic highland landscapes to reach Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake. Day 1 – Arrival in Lima (Sunday, October 25)

Arrive in Lima, Peru’s vibrant capital and gateway to the Andes. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your local tour manager and transferred to your hotel in one of Lima’s welcoming districts known for their charm, walkability, and access to coastal views and local culture. Settle in and relax after your international flight, or take a leisurely walk to get your first taste of the city’s energy and beauty.

Day 2 – Exploring Lima (Monday, October 26)

Today, enjoy a guided tour of Lima’s historical and cultural highlights. Explore the UNESCO-listed historic center, home to the stately Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, and the San Francisco Monastery with its catacombs. Visit the renowned Larco Museum and its extensive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts. Later, take part in a relaxed culinary experience where you’ll learn about Peru’s unique ingredients and traditional cooking methods in an engaging and informal setting. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3 – Into the Sacred Valley (Tuesday, October 27)

Fly to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley, an area of spectacular beauty and historical significance. Visit Awanakancha to learn about Andean camelids and textile techniques, then continue to the Pisac Market and ruins, set high on a mountainside. Explore Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town with an impressive archaeological site that served as a royal estate and strategic military fortress. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 4 – Maras, Moray & Andean Landscapes (Wednesday, October 28)

Journey to the remarkable Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling landscape of salt pans still harvested using traditional methods. Then visit the circular terraces of Moray, once an experimental agricultural site for the Incas. Return to your hotel and enjoy time to relax or explore the peaceful surroundings. Day 5 – Journey to Machu Picchu (Thursday, October 29)

Board the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes, following the Urubamba River through lush Andean valleys. Upon arrival, transfer to the entrance of Machu Picchu for your first guided exploration of the awe-inspiring citadel. Learn about the site’s history, construction, and spiritual significance as you explore temples, terraces, and ceremonial plazas with your guide. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 – Second Visit to Machu Picchu & Transfer to Cusco (Friday, October 30)

Return to Machu Picchu for a second visit, included in your program, allowing time to see the site from new angles and explore additional areas at a more relaxed pace. After your visit, descend to Aguas Calientes and board the Vistadome train back to the Sacred Valley. Continue by motorcoach to Cusco, where you’ll arrive in the early evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7 – Exploring Cusco (Saturday, October 31)

Discover the rich history of Cusco, once the capital of the Inca Empire. Visit Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), a sacred site partially preserved beneath a Spanish colonial convent. Explore Sacsayhuamán, a monumental fortress overlooking the city, and visit the charming San Blas neighborhood, filled with artisan workshops and narrow cobbled lanes. The afternoon is free to explore the city on your own. (Breakfast)

Day 8 – Train to Lake Titicaca (Sunday, November 1)

Travel in comfort aboard the PeruRail Andean Explorer, one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys. Cross the dramatic Altiplano, enjoying onboard service, regional cuisine, and panoramic views of highland plateaus, valleys, and snowcapped peaks. Arrive in Puno, the lakeside city that serves as a gateway to Lake Titicaca. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9 – Lake Titicaca Exploration (Monday, November 2)

Enjoy a full-day boat tour of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Visit the Uros Floating Islands, where Indigenous communities live on handwoven reed platforms, and continue to Taquile Island, known for its beautiful scenery and centuries-old textile traditions. Learn about local customs and enjoy a warm cultural exchange before returning to Puno. Fly to Lima for your final overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 10 – Journey Home (Tuesday, November 3)

On your final morning, visit the archaeological site of Sillustani, famous for its tower-like burial tombs set against a tranquil lake. Then transfer to Juliaca Airport for your flight, concluding your journey through Peru’s ancient landscapes, living cultures, and unforgettable wonders. (Breakfast)
