Alaska's Inside Passage (with Glacier National Park)

Day 1 – Bon Voyage!

The big day has arrived! The embarcation process begins at 12 p.m. with the ship departing the Port of Seattle at 3 p.m. Bon voyage! Enjoy the evening at leisure with a multitude of dining options and activities onboard.

Day 2 – At Sea

Enjoy the entire day at leisure to take advantage of the variety of onboard activities including a sports deck, a Vegas-style casino and more. Take part in one of the 'Discovery at Sea' enrichment programs or destination-themed activities. Relax in one of two deep-tank pools, the infinity-style Wakeview pool or a soothing hot tub. You'll have access to The Sanctuary – an adults only top deck retreat, Lotus Spa, Lotus Spa Fitness Center as well as Zumba, Yoga and Tai Chi classes. Enjoy acclaimed cuisine in multiple venues with in-room dining available and access to 'Specialty Dining.' In the evening you'll be entertained by Broadway-caliber production shows, world-class magicians and illusionists, top headliner comedians, street entertainers in the Piazza, game shows, live music, 'Movies Under the Stars' and more!

Day 3 – Juneau, Alaska

In 1880, it was slow going for Joe Juneau and Richard Harris as they searched for gold with the help of Native guides. After climbing mountains, forging streams and facing countless difficulties, they found nuggets "as large as beans." From their discovery came three of the largest gold mines in the world. By the end of World War II, more than $150 million in gold had been mined. Eventually the mines closed, but the town Joe Juneau founded became the capital of Alaska and the business of gold was replaced by the business of government. Some 30,000 people live in Juneau. Its total area makes it one of the biggest towns, in size, in the world. Only Kiruna, Sweden, and Sitka, Alaska, exceed Juneau's 3,248 square miles. Today Juneau is famous not only for gold and government but also for its breathtakingly beautiful glaciers and stunning views of both water and mountains.

Day 4 – Skagway, Alaska

Located on the Alaskan Panhandle, Skagway was originally considered a city before being incorporated as a borough in 2007. The town sprung up in the late 1800s at the height of the Yukon Gold Rush and has since become the hub of tourism in the region thanks to its lush mountain scenery and numerous historical attractions.

Day 5 – Glacier Bay National Park (Scenic Cruising)

Tucked between the vast waters of the Pacific and the historic coastline of Alaska lies one of America’s national treasures — Glacier Bay National Park. Brimming with rugged mountains, reflective waters and natural ice sculptures, this aquatic garden stretches over 3.3 million acres. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this maritime sanctuary is home to some of the world’s most spectacular tidewater glaciers like Margerie Glacier and Johns Hopkins Glacier. Amidst Mother Nature’s masterpiece lie harbor seals and sea lions while tranquil otters float peacefully across the marine surface. Occasionally, humpback whales appear, bringing with them an even greater sense of awe to the extraordinary haven.

Upon cruising into the still waters of the bay, park rangers will come on board to talk about the natural landscapes, animals and conservation efforts surrounding you. This new wealth of information will allow you to appreciate the allure of Glacier Bay National Park even more.

Day 6 – Ketchikan, Alaska

Ketchikan is known as Alaska's "First City" as it's the first major community that travelers come to as they journey north. Located on an island, Ketchikan began life as an Indian fishing camp. The name Ketchikan comes from a Tlingit phrase that means "eagle with spread-out wings," a reference to a waterfall near town. In the early 1900s, when gold was Alaska's claim to fame, fishing and timber industries were established in Ketchikan. The growth of these industries helped make this Inside Passage port Alaska's fourth-largest city.

Day 7 – Victoria, Canada

Victoria is best known for its old world charm and the fragrant and colorful flowers that can be found everywhere. Founded in 1843 by James Douglas of the Hudson's Bay Company, the city was first known as Fort Victoria. By 1848, Vancouver Island was a British colony and Victoria was its capital. In 1858, Victoria was a tent city and the base for some 25,000 prospectors on their way to the Frasier River gold fields. When Vancouver Island was incorporated with mainland British Columbia in 1868, Victoria became the capital of the entire province.
