Join us – if you dare – on this captivating journey through Hollywood, a town riddled with myths, legends and mysterious stories of ghostly apparitions lurking around world-renowned locations and landmarks. From the lingering spirits at the Hollywood Bowl to the murder of mobsters in Beverly Hills to a tragic suicide at the Hollywood Sign, this new and unique tour features professional L.A. guide Curt leading the way as we visit the notorious hot spots for the paranormal, fueled by the energy of the spirits which haunt them. At the iconic Hollywood Bowl we’ll hear the spine-tingling tale of the ‘Curse of the Cahuenga Pass Treasure.’ This eerie legend has cast a centuries-old shadow over the area, leaving an indelible impression on all who encounter its haunting story. We'll pay tribute to the rock legends who joined the infamous “27 Club” when we visit the legendary Highland Gardens Hotel, site of Janis Joplin's untimely death. As we drive by the enchanting Magic Castle, we'll hear tales of ghostly encounters and supernatural phenomena that have both fascinated and unsettled visitors throughout the years. We'll pass by the famous Chinese Theatre and The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, a hotbed of celebrity hauntings and unexplained mysteries. These hallowed grounds have long been whispered about, with stories of spectral sightings and inexplicable events adding an extra layer of intrigue to our journey. Passing the imposing Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre International (formerly known as Chateau Elyse) we’ll hear the urban legends surrounding this captivating institution and uncover the enigmatic practices that have shrouded it in mystery. We’ll visit the Hollywood Forever cemetery, a site steeped in urban legends about iconic Hollywood stars who allegedly linger in the ethereal realm. Founded in 1899, Hollywood Forever is the final resting place to more of Hollywood’s founders and stars than anywhere else on earth. We’ll delve into the remnants of prehistoric times at the La Brea Tar Pits and explore the ancient mysteries held within this bubbling tar. After time at leisure for lunch on your own at The Original Farmers Market and The Grove, we’ll cruise down the world-renowned Sunset Strip, steeped in its own tapestry of glamour, tragedy, and supernatural encounters. See the renowned Comedy Strip, where laughter masks a hidden darkness. Catch a glimpse of Chateau Marmont, home to scandal, intrigue, and perhaps a ghostly encounter or two. We’ll explore Beverly Hills, a luxurious neighborhood synonymous with opulence and well-guarded secrets. At the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park we’ll stroll amongst its hauntingly beautiful ambiance and pay our respects to the legendary figures that continue to captivate our imagination with their extraordinary tales and contributions to the cultural fabric of Los Angeles.
