From Country to Blues to Rock n’ Roll, this comprehensive 7-day tour will keep your feet tappin’ and your hands clappin’ long after you’ve returned home! We’ll discover why Nashville is the “Home of Country Music,” how Memphis became the “Home to the Blues and Birthplace of Rock n’ Roll,” and why Branson is the “Music Capital of the World.” But we won’t just see the sights, we’ll also experience all this musically rich region has to offer – from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry to Elvis’ Graceland and two dazzling live productions in Branson – we’re on our way to America’s Music Cities!
Optional transfers from our departure points will have us at the Los Angeles International Airport for our scheduled non-stop afternoon flight arriving in Nashville, Tennessee this evening. Those guests making their own flight arrangements can request the group’s flight schedule to coordinate a flight arrival time that would allow them to be included on the complimentary transfer to the hotel. In Nashville, we’ll board a deluxe motorcoach and travel to our hotel situated in Nashville’s “Music Valley” near the Grand Ole Opry. Meet your fellow traveling companions at an included welcome dinner this evening at a locals’ favorite. (Dinner)
Following an included breakfast, we’ll join a local guide for a comprehensive tour of Nashville, known as the “Birthplace and Home of Country Music.” We’ll see the historic Downtown District and “Honky Tonk Row,” the Tennessee State Capitol and Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. We’ll take a drive down Music Row – home to the recording studios and record labels. We’ll then explore the legacy of music in Nashville with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the definitive home of American Country Music. The museum houses more than just exhibits – it is a musical experience where rare artifacts are enriched by a wide variety of multimedia stations. Two expansive floors house priceless artifacts, including countless recordings and photographs, numerous stage costumes, musical instruments, and more. This afternoon we’ll visit the historic Ryman Auditorium, one of the most celebrated venues in modern music. Immerse yourself in music’s most iconic stage and the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. This Nashville landmark is hallowed ground and “The Mother Church” has powered Nashville’s cultural engine for 130 years! After an included dinner at a locals’ favorite, we’ll take our seats this evening at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry. Each Opry show features an array of performances by new stars, superstars and legends of country music as well as bluegrass, comedy and so much more! (Breakfast, Dinner)
Following an included breakfast, we’ll travel west of Nashville to Storytellers Hideaway Farm & Museum, Johnny Cash’s escape for more than 30 years. Only recently made available for touring, this is now a must-stop for anyone interested in knowing more about the “The Man in Black.” Tour his hideaway home – built before the Civil War – it’s where he escaped public life and called it “the center of my universe.” Tour the country store that was converted into The Little Stage, and see artifacts from classic country music stars. We continue along Tennessee’s “Music Highway” to Memphis, known as the “Home to the Blues & Birthplace of Rock n’ Roll.” We’ll begin a two-night stay at The Guest House at Graceland,, an extraordinary AAA Four Diamond resort hotel in the heart of Elvis Presley’s Graceland! Located just steps away from the iconic Graceland Mansion, this hotel offers modern amenities along with true Southern hospitality. We’ll enjoy an included dinner with Blues music this evening at a Beale Street Blues club. Among others, B.B. King sang the Blues on Beale Street, and it was here that Elvis first heard the Blues. resort with the balance of the evening at leisure. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Following an included breakfast, we’ll enjoy the entire day at Graceland, the impressive 14-acre estate that was the private retreat of the King of Rock n' Roll. You’ll have VIP tickets which provide front-of-the-line access to his palatial mansion. Step aboard Elvis’ customized airplanes to see how he traveled in luxury. Following an included breakfast we’ll journey north into the music and entertainment capital of the Midwest, Branson, Missouri. Nestled in the heart of the scenic Ozark Mountains, it’s easy to see why so many musical stars call this tiny town “home.” Nicknamed the “Music Capital of the World,” your time in Branson will feature two of the most dazzling productions available (specific shows subject to change) while staying two nights at a premier hotel. Following an included dinner at a local’s favorite, we’ll arrive at the King’s Castle Theatre for a performance of New Jersey Nights. This spectacular celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will take you on a nostalgic musical journey through the career of one of the biggest selling groups of all times. This all singing, all dancing production showcases all their biggest hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and “Oh What a Night.”
Following an included breakfast, we’ll join a local guide for a panoramic tour of the Branson area including the College of the Ozarks, Table Rock Dam, Table Rock Lake, and more. Those guests making their own flight arrangements can request the group’s flight schedule to coordinate a flight departure time that would allow them to be included on the complimentary transfer to the airport. Back in Los Angeles, those guests with pre-arranged transfers will be returned to their respective drop-offs.
