With Included Lunch at Tehachapi’s Country Bakery

1 Day Package
1 Meal Included
New Itinerary

Price: $99 Per Person

On this unique animal adventure, we’ll travel to the beautiful Tehachapi Valley, an oasis located in the mountains (elevation 4,000 ft.) between the San Joaquin Valley and the Mojave Desert. While Tehachapi is a quiet little mountain town now, it once was an old stage depot, cowboy town and has a unique railroad history to boot. Enjoy an included outdoor lunch at an authentically charming German bakery and café located in historic, downtown Tehachapi. Boasting old-world charm and delicious food, this country bakery is known for its fresh-baked bread that is made from scratch on-site daily. We continue to Adorable Alpacas to meet some inquisitive and friendly creatures that have luxurious fleece, captivating faces and a gentle nature – you will fall in love! You'll learn interesting facts and some of the quirky things alpacas do. Your visit includes alpaca treats to feed them – and since alpacas don't have top front teeth, they don't bite and are eager to eat from your hand! The gift shop features a variety of items made from alpaca fleece such as hats, scarves, and gloves, as well as other alpaca-themed items. This afternoon, we’ll travel into the Antelope Valley and visit the Feline Conservation Center, better known as “The Cat House.” On a docent-guided tour, we’ll meet a variety of big cats and learn about this facility dedicated to the protection and preservation of the world’s most endangered felines. This breeding zoo and research facility is home to 18 different species including tiger, leopard, jaguar, bobcat, snow leopard, fishing cat, serval, ocelot, Eurasian lynx, Canada lynx and others. This tour involves minimal walking over uneven terrain.
To ensure a healthy and enjoyable travel experience for our guests, this tour will have a number of additional health and safety measures in place and require each guest complete a Wellness Pledge/Release of Liability Agreement.
