Traveling Together Safely...

Dear Friends,

While face masks and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are no longer required to join our tours, we continue to recommend and encourage our guests wear face masks while onboard the motorcoach, airplanes, trains and in other indoor places where there are a number of people in close confines – even if a mask requirement may not be in place. Face masks, especially N95 masks – in addition to vaccination – provide the best protection against COVID-19, the flu, colds and other airborne illnesses.

Some tour descriptions may specify that a face mask and/or proof of vaccination requirement is in place for that specific tour due to requirements imposed by specific vendors. In this case, guests will be required to comply in order to visit the vendor/destination. Good Times Travel will not be confirming proof of vaccination with guests at time of booking, or requiring such proof at time of boarding the motorcoach.

In addition, if a vendor/destination (restaurant, museum, historic site or other attraction) that does not currently require a face mask and/or proof of COVID-19 vaccination, but does at a later time, guests will be required to comply in order to visit with no recourse for refund/credit. Therefore, we recommend all guests continue to travel with a face mask and proof of vaccination.
If the current environment changes and specific vendors/destinations and/or a significant subset of vendors or certain key suppliers require vaccination, Good Times Travel may extend, reinstate or modify the vaccination requirements at any time for all guests on affected itineraries with no recourse for refund/credit. Good Times Travel has no control over local government, country or vendor policies regarding extension of, or reinstatement of, vaccination and or face mask requirements.

Rest assured that we will continue to keep our guests' health, well-being and enjoyment our number one priority and several health and wellness measures that were put in place in 2020 will remain.

Increased air filtration (MERV 13 filters) and cleaning onboard the motorcoach.

Hand sanitization is requested each time you board the motorcoach. The tour director will have a supply of hand sanitizer or you may use your own. Please sanitize often and wash your hands whenever possible.

Tour directors are trained to deny boarding of any guests that show symptoms of being sick and the expulsion of any guests that appear ill while on tour. Expelled guests are responsible for getting themselves back to their vehicle at their own expense and no refund/credit will be available for any unused portions of the tour. As always, your tour director is there to remove many of the "touch points" involved in travel including the hotel check-in and expedited entry into restaurants, museums and attractions.

In addition, while guests are not required to provide a completed Health & Wellness Waiver after January 3, 2023, all guests who travel with us are expected to continue to abide by the pledges outlined on our Health & Wellness Waiver:

_____ I pledge that I have not tested positive for COVID-19 during the 10 days prior to my tour with Good Times Travel.

_____ I pledge that I have not had a fever, felt feverish, had chills, a cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, loss of taste/smell or other symptoms of COVID-19 or the flu during the 10 days prior to my tour with Good Times Travel.

_____ I pledge that should I develop any symptoms or feel ill while on tour, I will notify the tour director immediately.

_____ I pledge that I will follow all protocols to reduce the spread of illness, as well as those established by any and all governmental agencies/businesses with jurisdiction over the area(s) we will visit.

_____ I pledge to take personal responsibility for my own health and well-being and consider the well-being of the others onboard by not traveling when ill.

_____ I understand that non-compliance of these measures by myself or my traveling party will result in my/our party not being able to continue on the Good Times Travel tour and I will be responsible to get myself back to my vehicle at my own expense and no refund/credit will be available for any unused portions of the tour.

While traveling with us, we recommend the following:

Travel with at least one face mask as face masks may be required by specific municipalities and businesses.

Wear a face mask while onboard the motorcoach, airplanes, trains and in other indoor places where there are a number of people in close confines – even if a mask requirement may not be in place. Face masks, especially N95 masks – in addition to vaccination – provide the best protection against COVID-19, the flu, colds and other airborne illnesses.

Carry hand sanitizer with you and use it often in addition to washing your hands whenever possible.

Be prepared to follow all established health and wellness measures for the duration of the tour and ensure all members of your traveling party are prepared to do the same.

Keep in mind that our established measures may change due to this ever-changing environment we now live in and your tour director will provide the most up-to-date information.

Purchase travel protection, either through NTA/AON or through any other travel protection company – a small investment not only protects your funds, but provides countless benefits and peace of mind since travel protection can provide a full refund for specific reasons including illness,

From the beginning of this pandemic we have been consistent in enforcing policies that are in line with federal, state and local policies and we’ve had protocols in place that take into account our business model and the demographic of our guests. We will continue to keep our guest’s health, well-being and enjoyment our number one priority and continue to communicate any further changes to our protocols as necessary.

As travel continues to rebound, we will continue to add new single-day and multi-day tours to our schedule. Due to the ongoing challenging and fluid travel environment we now live in, releasing tours much closer to departure (1-6 months) allows us to better ensure we can deliver what we advertise.

In 2023 we celebrate our 32nd year! All those years of knowledge and tour planning experience was put to the test the last 2+ years  and 2023 will be no different! You can put your trust in us knowing we are experts in travel planning and now have 2+ years of experience of planning travel during a global pandemic and the challenges it created for the hospitality and tourism industry!

We in turn thank you – our guests – for your continued understanding, patience and flexibility both prior to and while on tour with us. While they are traits always needed while traveling, they are needed now more than ever!

One of the best parts of traveling is the dreaming, the planning and the anticipation of departing. Take a look at our growing line-up of 2023 tours on this website and start dreaming! Because we are releasing new single-day and new multi-day tours often, and because those that we do release tend to fill quickly, we don't have a printed catalog. We update our travelers via our website and via our weekly e-mailer. Be sure you are subscribed to receive our e-mailer in order to receive the latest news and tours as they become available.

While it’s certainly more challenging planning travel in this ever-changing environment, we are proud of the way our team has navigated through the many challenges to provide new experiences and create new memories for our guests back on the road. We have received tremendous positive feedback from our guests regarding our transparency and continual updates with any necessary changes to their itinerary or our onboard health and wellness measures. We will continue to do that and invite you to reply with any questions or concerns you may have regarding traveling with us.

Let the good times roll!
