This afternoon, we’ll visit the Getty Center – an incredible museum featuring fine art against a backdrop of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens and breathtaking views from downtown L.A. to the ocean. High atop a hill on 110 acres amongst the Santa Monica Mountains, the $1.3 billion Getty Center is as incredible as it was the day it opened over 25 years ago! Enjoy time at leisure browsing the Getty’s impressive collection of fine American and European paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, sculptures and decorative arts from the Middle Ages to the present, as well as a variety of special exhibits. Take a stroll through the Central Garden featuring relaxing water features and colorful plants that are typically in full bloom this time of year.
