Everyone’s talking about it – The Manor: Murder and Madness at Greystone Mansion. Built by famed oil tycoon Edward Doheny, Greystone Mansion is a Beverly Hills legend and often considered the grandest mansion on the West coast, second only to Hearst Castle. While this mysterious and haunted 55-room, 46,000 square foot historic treasure is normally closed to the public, you’re invited to venture inside this magnificent mansion today to experience this unique event – offered for the first time since 2020! This award-winning immersive play is inspired by the sensational true events that took place in 1929 within this glorious architectural landmark – events so scandalous they would forever alter the fortunes of the oil-rich Doheny Family. As the interactive play unfolds within the mansion walls, the servants will invite us to follow the dramatic story through the mansion (with the audience seated in each room) as scenes of romance, murder and suicide are performed by a professional theatre company dressed in period costume. Prior to our arrival at Greystone Mansion, we’ll enjoy time at leisure for an early lunch on your own at The Original Farmer’s Market and The Grove. Greystone Mansion is a historic site and walking up/down a flight of stairs is necessary to experience this unique opportunity. |
