Tantalizing to elegant, inventive to endearing, and a true feast for the eyes and years – the annual Pasadena Holiday ‘Look In’ Home Tour will once again showcase beautiful gardens and magnificent homes embellished by the talents of the finest floral designers. Since 1967, The Women’s Committee of the Pasadena Symphony Association has hosted this enormously popular one-afternoon-per-year holiday event that provides the unique experience to leisurely stroll through four private and distinctive Pasadena homes while docents point out interesting features, and musicians of the prestigious Pasadena Symphony provide holiday music in the background. Our motorcoach will provide transportation between the four homes which are hand-picked each year for their magnificent architecture, festive holiday décor and delightful floral work done by Pasadena’s finest floral artists. This year’s homes include a 1923 English Revival Cottage, a 1925 Stately Mediterranean, a 1951 Mid-Century Modern, and an 1892 American Foursquare. We top off the day at the Holiday Look In Boutique which features everything from sophisticated jewelry to hostess gifts with 25% of the proceeds going to the Pasadena Symphony. Prior to the tour, enjoy time at leisure for browsing and lunch on your own in Old Pasadena, a nationally registered historic district that features more than 300 restaurants and shops housed in architecturally significant buildings along tree-lined side streets and charming alleyways. No high heeled shoes, walkers or scooters are permitted inside the homes. |
