We continue to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets with time at leisure to browse 85 designer and name brand stores including Disney, kate spade New York, Tory Burch, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike and more. Enjoy lunch on your own at a variety of sit down and fast casual restaurants or walk across the street to the Windmill Food Hall. At The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, we’ll find ourselves standing amongst a sea of vibrant flowers stretching as far as the eye can see. For over 60 years, Mother Nature has transformed these rolling hills into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world! The nearly 55 acres of Giant Tecolote ranunculus flowers provide an annual burst of color announcing the arrival of spring. Enjoy time at leisure strolling through the flower fields (including the brilliantly hued American flag made of red, white and blue petunias) as well as the artist garden, bird aviary, the cymbidium orchid greenhouse, the historic poinsettia display, the demonstration garden and the sweet pea maze. An open-air, narrated wagon tour through the fields aboard an antique tractor is available on a first-come-first-served basis for an additional fee. This tour involves moderate walking over uneven terrain. |
