We Love Lucy! Day Tour Calendar
Paramount Studios & Hollywood Museum

Departing: Thursday, October 18, 2018
Limited Space

1 Day Package

Price: $109 Per Person

Today we pay homage to that funny, mischievous redhead whom we all adore! I Love Lucy is often regarded as one of the greatest and most influential sitcoms in history, and was recently voted the 'Best TV Show of All Time' in a survey conducted by ABC News and People Magazine.

First, a visit to the Hollywood Museum, featuring the most extensive collection of Hollywood memorabilia in the world. On display are more than 10,000 authentic Hollywood treasures including one-of-a-kind costumes, props, photographs, scripts, stars’ cars and personal artifacts. The museum is housed in the historic Max Factor Building where Max Factor, Hollywood’s “Make-Up King,” created the looks of Hollywood’s Golden Era stars including Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn, Judy Garland, Mae West, Jean Harlow and Marilyn Monroe. A highlight will be the opportunity to stand in the Redheads Only Room, where stars like Lucille Ball and Rita Hayworth became Hollywood’s leading redheads! See Lucy’s personal makeup and accessories and Rita’s personal vanity set.

After time at leisure for lunch on your own at the Hollywood & Highland shopping and dining complex, we will walk in the footsteps of Lucille Ball and other legends at Paramount Studios, while we explore over a century of Hollywood history and witness more in the making at this famed studio. During our visit, a knowledgeable guide will lead us on an intimate behind-the-scenes tour of the longest operating and only remaining major studio in Hollywood – where some of the most celebrated motion pictures and TV shows have been made. Paramount absorbed the former Desilu Studios that once produced I Love Lucy, and is still home to “Lucy Park” and Lucille’s Ball’s office and dressing room when she worked at the studio filming The Lucy Show. From the comfort of a shaded tour cart and plenty of time to also get out and stretch your legs, explore sound stages, the backlot, iconic Hollywood landmarks and more on this two-hour tour. Enjoy time to browse the Studio Store filled with wonderful souvenirs. Additional “Lucy” surprises as well as fun “Lucy” stories and anecdotes during this celebrity-themed adventure today. Suggested: walking shoes.
