This hilarious comedy was a recent hit on Broadway! It’s 1846, and talented French artist, Jean-Francois Millet, feels honor bound to save his fiancée and her father from financial ruin. Millet soon realizes that great paintings make much more money after the artist dies. In desperation, he fakes his own death and becomes… his sister! Only the brilliant Mark Twain, the original master of American humor, could conceive of such a riotous plot! The intimate, theatre-in-the-round style seating of the Glendale Centre Theatre literally wraps you in the experience, making you part of the action. Prior to the matinee show, an included lunch with choice of entrée and dessert at the historic Tam O’Shanter Inn, a charming replica of a cozy Scottish Inn owned by the Lawry’s family.
