Day By Day Itinerary:
Day 1
Sunday, 12/9/2018 - Arrive Tenaya Lodge
From our departure points this morning we set off on our journey towards Yosemite National Park by deluxe motorcoach. We’ll make two  rest stops and a stop for lunch on your own as we make our way through the Central Valley. In the late afternoon we will arrive at the beautiful, AAA four-diamond Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite.  Located just outside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, this lodge resort sits on 35 secluded acres amongst a noble evergreen forest and offers an experience that is classic, yet perfectly modern. The resort offers an indoor pool and spa and full-service spa. This time of year it is decorated for the holidays in all of its Christmas splendor.  Relax at the lodge this evening and enjoy dinner at leisure at one of the lodge’s restaurants.
Day 2
Monday, 12/10/2018 - Yosemite National Park
Following an included buffet breakfast at the lodge, a local guide will join us onboard. Welcome to Yosemite National Park, a majestic land embracing a spectacular tract of mountain-and-valley scenery in the Sierra Nevada. Set aside as a National Park in 1890, the Park harbors a grand collection of meadows and forests. In addition, the Park offers some of the most majestic sights in the world due in part to its unique, glacier-shaped cliffs and rock faces. While we’ll hope for a light dusting of snow on the ground and in the trees, regardless, our day of sightseeing in Yosemite Valley will be highlighted by such miraculously beautiful sights as El Capitan, Half Dome, the tall pines and peaceful meadows. A highlight of our day will be an included three-course lunch in the dining room of the Majestic View Lodge (formerly The Ahwahnee). Enjoy time at leisure to browse Yosemite Village and visit the Ansel Adams Gallery. We return to our lodge in the late afternoon with the balance of the evening at your leisure to take advantage of the indoor heated pool and spa and the restaurants that offer a wide range of cuisine.

Day 3
Tuesday, 12/11/2018 - Kearney Mansion
After an included breakfast, we’ll begin our journey home with a stop in Fresno, within the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. We’ll tour the Kearney Mansion, an early 1900’s French Renaissance-style mansion with original Victorian furnishings.  This time of year the mansion is decorated from top to bottom with trees, garland and bows and showcases how Christmas was celebrated over 100 years ago. M. Theo Kearney was known as the “Raisin King” and pioneered much of the agricultural industry in Central Valley. This is one of the San Joaquin Valley’s most significant and historic sites and helps tell the story of the development of agriculture in the Valley as well as California’s immigration story. We’ll then enjoy an included Basque lunch in Fresno. This traditional family-style meal including lamb and chicken and wine, is a memorable finale to our  spectacular journey.  We continue our journey to Southern California arriving back in the evening.  While we will have returned to the city, images of giant granite cliffs, peaceful meadows and Christmas décor will provide a memorable experience for this holiday season.
